The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Litigation Solicitor to join our vibrant Belfast team. You’ll manage your own caseload, advise clients on contentious matters, and represent them in court when required. Working across a variety of cases, you’ll play a key role in shaping legal strategy, delivering exceptional service, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied litigation caseload from initial instruction through to resolution.

• Advise clients on all stages of the litigation process, providing pragmatic and strategic guidance.

• Draft and review pleadings, affidavits, witness statements, and settlement terms.

• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution forums.

• Engage with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently.

• Maintain compliance with court deadlines, procedures, and firm policies.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the litigation department.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor (Admitted in Northern Ireland).

• Solid experience in litigation — personal injury, industrial disease, professional negligence or commercial disputes.

• Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Commitment to client care and achieving the best possible outcomes.
